I don't really plan to start any type of regular blog. I'll leave that to the experts. I've also already documented my experiences cycling in Paris, so I also won't do that here. I do, however, want to compile my photos to keep sort of a visual log. So here they are:
Velib Kiosk...very user-friendly.
No city is immune to cycletrack blockage.
Velib docking station.
The Velib app said 19 bikes were available...not so much.
Cycletracks everywhere!
Doesn't take much effort to add physical separation.
Place de la Concorde...not exactly bicycle friendly.
Sometimes you have to lock a Velib because...
...dockblocking is a serious problem.
More bike lane blockage...this time from a bike store customer.
Place de la Bastille...another tricky roundabout.
Contraflow bike/bus lane.

Another bike-unfriendly roundabout.
Typical Velib station.
Another cycletrack.
Cycletrack takes precedence over pedestrian space.
Cold winter in Europe.
Sunday = perfect day for cycling.
Crazy cycletrack intersection.
Biggest bikeshare station I've ever seen!

Cycling down the Rhine is on my bucket list.
